The basic role of the of The U.S. Constitutional Council is to protect the integrity of The U.S. Constitution and to ensure that it is properly enforced as it is and as it is written. The U. S. Constitutional Council is explicitly charged NOT to be engaged in politics, or to set policy, or to write laws -- except concerning elections. See Elections.

Remarks

In the following topics are some of the essential roles of the proposed U. S. Constitutional Council; there certainly could be other roles, especially where present practices are injurious to good governance.
